Servite offers a comprehensive range of benefits to employees as detailed below:
Salaries: Salaries for specific posts are detailed in job advert. Most positions have incremental scales. Incremental increases are effective on 1 April each year after 3 months' service. A cost of living increase may also be applied from 1 April.

Pension: Employees may join Servite's Group Personal Pension Plan provided by Friends Provident. This is a contributory scheme with different levels of contribution available up to a maximum of 6% of salary. The company will pay double the employee contribution. Employees are eligible to join at any time from their first day of employment.
Personal Accident Insurance: This scheme provides certain benefits to employees injured in an accident either at work or elsewhere.
Death in Service Benefit: Permanent employees who meet the eligibility criteria are automatically included in this scheme which is non-contributory and provides 3 x annual salary at time of death.
Education, training and development: A comprehensive personal development plan is created for each employee and is reviewed through the annual appraisal scheme. Employees are encouraged to study for qualifications relevant to their job.
Flexible working hours: The standard full-time working week is 35 hours for office based staff and 37.5 hours for scheme based staff. Employees must work the core hours but can carry accrued hours either in debit or credit into the next working period. Each working period is 4 weeks long. Up to 20 days flexi-leave can be taken in a year, subject to line manager approval.
Flexible Working Arrangements: Employees can apply to change their working patterns, including part-time working, job sharing and home working. Annual leave 33 days inclusive of public holidays (pro-rata for part-time employees), rising with service to a maximum of 39 days. The annual leave year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Occupational sick pay Occupational sick pay is payable after certain service requirements:
- Less than 1 year service, employees receive 4 weeks' full pay, then 8 week's half pay.
- 1 year but less than 2 years, employees receive 13 weeks' full pay and 13 weeks' half pay.
- After 2 years' service, employees receive 26 weeks' full pay and 26 weeks half pay.
Employee Assistance Programme: Employees can access a free and confidential counselling and advice service.
